Daytime Opportunities: Flexible day-time hours, Monday through Friday

Direct Services

• Counselor - We are looking for women trained in counseling, a related field, or have applicable life experiences that have a burden to help women in a crisis pregnancy. Training is provided through Total Life Care Centers in Minneapolis and through the Director at the Center.
  
  
• Client Advocate - Individuals who offer support and help clients access services available through the Life Care Center
  
  
• Medical Personnel - Family practice physicians, R.N.'s, L.P.N.'s, and lab technicians for basic non-emergency medical care twice monthly for all people in the community. The medical staff is on a rotating schedule.
  
  
• Professionals - With areas of expertise in parenting, safety, life skills or health to assist in scheduled classes.
  
  
• Office Assistant - Want to work more “behind the scenes”? Support us with all of the work of the Client Team…except the interaction with clients! You keep our center up and running in a welcoming and efficient manner.
  
  
• Maintenance Crew - Are you a “handy” man or woman? Lend a hand with maintenance, repairs, heavy-lifting – anything that takes a little sweat and ingenuity. Regular light cleaning and upkeep of center.

• On-Call Volunteer - Looking for an occasional or one-time volunteer opportunity with little commitment? Could you volunteer with us with as little as two days notice? Sign up to be on our list and we’ll contact you when needed. Provide support in wide variety of duties for projects that arise, like mailings, or when extra help is needed at an event.
  
  
• Fundraiser - Help us develop the most effective strategy to stay afloat and thrive. Work with the Special Event and Promotions teams to manage and implement effective and efficient fundraising activities.
  
  
• Marketer/Promoter - Get the word out: about us, our services, our events, and our needs! Help us with marketing, outreach, graphic design, literature distribution, table staffing and events, or even as a speaker on a variety of topics.
  
  
• Special Events - Adopt a fun and fruitful fundraising/promotional event that becomes your “baby” from start to finish! With the Lake Superior Life Care Center staff, you can plan, manage, and implement an annual or new event, or be a part of the volunteer committee that will pull off the event.  
  

• Help our clients from the inside out! All non-profits like us need a governing Board. Get an inside peek at our operations while you lend your expertise and experience to make sure that they run as effectively as possible for those we serve.
  
  
• The Board meets every other month and members support various fundraising activities throughout the year.
